Thank you for inquiring about hiring me to photograph your wedding day. I've complied a list of my most frequent questions to hopefully get you the most information you need up front to make your decisions and bringing on your team of vendors easier
Q: I don't see a collection that fits my needs, can I customize it?
A. Absolutely! we can build you your own collection based off the items that best fit what you value for your wedding day and this would be discussed during our consult. You will see on the brochure the a la cart option of choosing how many hours you'd like to book. It is a 4 hour minimum for events. You may also add on a 2nd shooter and albums to completely curate your own package.
Q: Will I receive all the digital images you take?
A. Many photographers do charge extra for digitals, I believe everyone deserves to have their memories preserved so I do include one download of the high resolution digitals in all collections. Typical galleries can range from 300-800 images. The final number is based off of many factors such as size & length of wedding and amount of hours reserved. I do always include all the images that best represent your day focusing on quality versus quantity.
Q: Can I remove the engagement session from a package?
A. No, these are actually complimentary to you, I do highly recommend an engagement session to help you get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, but if you don't need one or live out of the area, we can curate a package for you. If you are not needing the engagement session, you would simply book based on the number of hours you want booked. If you live out of town, we can coordinate travel or schedule a day after golden hour session
Q: Do you shoot destination weddings & elopements?
A. Yes! I do travel for weddings, and all photography sessions. Travel fees are based on the destination and flights, hotel, and rental car. Flights are based out of Sacramento Internation airport. Please inquire fora custom quote.
Q: Can I upgrade my album?
A. Of course! Once your images are delivered, we design your album and go over your album options to make sure you have exactly what you want since this is such an investment that'll last generations and the item people will look at when they come to visit and you retell the story of your wedding day. If your collection does not include an album, you may order one at any time. Many couples opt to put this on their wedding registry!
Thank you for taking the time to read over some of my most asked questions. Photography is definitely an investment. For every hour booked, there is typically another 8-10 hours of editing per hour. I pride myself in hand editing each image to deliver a seamless gallery. I work for hours leading up to each wedding curating a timeline and understanding what you value to make sure those images are portrayed on your wedding day. Preserving these memories is a job I don't take lightly.
