I have been mastering the craft of photography since the early days in high school and continued through the dark rooms developing film, in college. Allison Upchurch Photography officially launched in 2018 after pursuing a degree in Human services only to quit to raise my babies. Which ignited the spark to return to my roots and my passions.
With nearly a decade of wedding experience, My bespoke approach allows me to understand your needs and bring your vision to life while maintaining an elevated yet effortless and professional approach
I only take up to 12 weddings per year so I can intentionally invest back into each and every client

I love capturing the connection between people.
The way people naturally communicate through words & movement. Freezing time to make you feel something again and again, like when you hear your favorite song.
I believe in documenting this life because your story is important, this time matters and the photos are about the memories in this season of life, because it all passes so quickly.
Although I take an approach of letting the day or session just naturally unfold and capturing it just as it happens, providing you images that'll remind you just the way the day felt
There's times where I guide you based on the best lighting and overall vision. It's a beautiful mix of having a plan and providing creative direction but allowing space for you to soak in the time and just be.
I love to capture real emotion and natural connections with minimal posing and simple guided prompts
My style is timeless and true to color with a pop of magic sprinkled in so the photographs can be loved forever rather than adjusting to the current trends
